Peejay Mobility Import ("we", "us", "our", or "PJM") is a vehicle importation business based in Lagos, Nigeria. We specialise in sourcing, purchasing, shipping, and clearing luxury and standard vehicles from the United States of America and Canada on behalf of clients across Nigeria.

Peejay Mobility Import provides the following services:
We act as an agent on behalf of the client in the procurement process. Title and ownership of the vehicle passes directly from the seller to the client.
Submitting an import request through our website or via WhatsApp does not constitute a binding agreement. It is an expression of interest, and we will respond with a personalised quotation within 24 hours.
A binding agreement is formed only when:
All quotations are valid for 72 hours from the date of issue, after which vehicle availability and pricing may change. Auction prices are market-driven and may fluctuate between quotation and bid placement.
Our full quotation will include a transparent breakdown of all costs. This typically comprises:
Payment is made in two stages:
All payments are made via bank transfer to our nominated account. We do not accept cash or third-party payments. Official receipts are issued for every payment received.
Important: Nigerian customs duty rates are set by the Federal Government and may change without prior notice. If duty rates increase between quotation and clearance, the additional amount is the responsibility of the client. We will notify you immediately of any such changes.
We source vehicles from major North American auto auctions. Vehicles are sold as described by the auction house. We provide clients with all available information including:
Clients are strongly advised to review all vehicle information before confirming a purchase. We do not make independent representations about vehicle condition beyond what is provided in auction documentation.
For Tokunbo (foreign used) vehicles, please be aware that pre-owned vehicles may have wear, cosmetic imperfections, or undisclosed history not captured in reports. We recommend requesting the most comprehensive condition information available before committing to a purchase.
For salvage or rebuilt title vehicles, the client acknowledges full understanding that such vehicles have sustained significant prior damage and may require repairs after importation.
We arrange ocean freight through reputable shipping carriers. Estimated shipping timelines are provided in good faith but are subject to:
Typical transit time from auction win to Lagos delivery is 6–12 weeks. We will provide regular updates throughout this process via WhatsApp.
All vehicles are imported in full compliance with Nigerian customs regulations. The client is responsible for ensuring they meet all applicable requirements for vehicle ownership and registration in Nigeria.
Risk of loss or damage to the vehicle transfers to the client upon delivery and client sign-off. We recommend that clients arrange marine insurance for high-value vehicles during transit. We can assist in facilitating this upon request.
Upon delivery, the client should inspect the vehicle thoroughly. Any damage or discrepancies must be reported to us in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Claims reported after this period may not be actionable.
Once a deposit has been paid and a bid placed at auction, cancellation is not possible as auction sales are final and binding. The deposit is non-refundable in such cases.
If a cancellation is requested before a bid is placed, we will review the case individually. Any refund will be at our discretion and will be net of any administrative costs already incurred.
In the event that we are unable to source or deliver the requested vehicle due to circumstances on our end, we will provide a full refund of all amounts paid.
We strongly recommend that clients are certain of their vehicle choice before making a deposit payment, as auction commitments cannot be reversed.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Nigerian law, Peejay Mobility Import shall not be liable for:
Our total liability to any client shall not exceed the total amount paid by that client to PJM in connection with the relevant transaction.
